Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing and mobility with dignity
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the care team promptly
Document patient care accurately in charts and electronic records
Maintain infection control standards and a safe care environment
Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential valid in California
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Comfortable with night shift work and adaptable to per diem scheduling
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Ability to pass background and drug screening per facility policy

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Infection prevention and safe patient handling
Accurate documentation and basic electronic charting
Teamwork, time management, and clear communication
Customer-service mindset when interacting with patients and families
