Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support their daily living activities
• Monitor and document vital signs, patient status, and care provided with attention to detail
• Assist licensed nursing staff with procedures and follow care plans reliably
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients and families
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care
• Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible per diem scheduling
• Up-to-date immunizations and willingness to complete any required health screenings
• Background check and drug screening as part of onboarding
• Previous hands-on patient care experience preferred

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills including bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Good communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced clinical settings
• Basic charting and documentation skills; attention to detail
• Understanding of infection prevention and safety protocols
• Compassionate bedside manner and ability to prioritize patient dignity
