Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate telemetry nursing care to assigned patients
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly escalate changes
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies according to policy
• Perform thorough assessments and document patient status accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize care
• Provide clear patient and family education regarding condition and plan
• Maintain adherence to infection control, safety, and documentation standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or eligible for reciprocity
• Experience working on telemetry or medical-surgical units
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a busy environment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Accurate, concise electronic medical record documentation
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Time management, triage, and rapid clinical decision-making
