Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care within the MST program
• Assess, plan and document individualized care plans and nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care
• Educate patients and families on care plans, resources and follow-up

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience or familiarity with MST (Military Sexual Trauma) care or related behavioral health settings is a plus
• Comfort working per-diem schedules and adapting quickly to new clinical environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid nursing assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles, especially for MST populations
• Proficient documentation and electronic health record (EHR) skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Compassionate patient education and family engagement abilities
