Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned patients
Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and document findings clearly
Administer medications and treatments safely according to orders
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient needs
Respond promptly to patient changes and escalate concerns when necessary
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
Maintain compliance with policies, infection control, and MST-specific protocols

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred where applicable
Prior RN experience in acute care or relevant clinical settings preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Comfort working per diem shifts and adapting to varying unit needs

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, ASN, or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and basic procedures
Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
Knowledge of infection control practices and safety protocols
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Compassionate care approach with sensitivity to MST-related needs
