Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and escalate changes promptly
• Assist nursing staff with safe patient transfers and mobility support
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and colleagues
• Support documentation in the patient record to keep care coordinated
• Respond to patient needs promptly and advocate for patient comfort and dignity

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Reliable ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling
• Current TB test and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
• Background check and drug screen clearance as required
• Great communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable performing patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Basic understanding of infection prevention and safety procedures
• Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with electronic charting is a plus
