Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate effective patient care
• Respond promptly to emergencies and escalating clinical situations
• Support patients and families with clear communication and empathetic care

Qualifications

• Current active Registered Nurse license in California
• Experience working overnight or per diem nursing shifts preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS/PALS as applicable or preferred
• Comfortable providing care in MST-focused settings (MST listed as a core skill)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care
• Familiarity with MST-related patient needs and trauma-informed care approaches
• Excellent clinical documentation and electronic health record (EHR) navigation
• Strong communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
• Ability to manage priorities during high-acuity overnight shifts
