Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care nursing during the assigned shift
Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
Administer medications, manage IVs and titrate drips per orders
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other clinicians to optimize patient outcomes
Document care accurately and timely in the patient record
Support safe patient transfers, admissions, and discharges with attention to detail

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California (or compact state where applicable)
Experience working in an ICU or critical care setting
Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable with ventilator care, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care medication administration
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and rapid recognition of patient deterioration
Familiarity with telemetry, ventilators, infusion pumps and advanced monitoring
Medication administration and titration for critical care patients
Accurate clinical documentation and handoff communication
Teamwork, delegation, and prioritization in high-acuity settings
