Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care during 12-hour night shifts
• Perform focused patient assessments and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications safely and monitor effects according to policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans
• Document patient information clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Support patient and family education to promote recovery and well-being
• Advocate for patients’ needs and contribute to a positive care environment

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Experience working as an RN with exposure to MST (as listed in core skills)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced certifications (ACLS/PALS) preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently during night shifts and handle acuity
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with MST-related protocols and clinical workflows
• Ability to manage time and prioritize in a fast-paced night environment
• Comfort working with electronic medical records and charting systems
