Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices to protect patients and staff
• Take and document vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Support patient comfort and dignity while following care plans and facility protocols
• Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of California
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience as a CNA or in a direct patient care role helpful
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong hands-on caregiving skills and basic clinical knowledge
• Familiarity with vital sign measurement and documentation
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes in condition
• Good teamwork, time management, and patient safety awareness
• Compassionate bedside manner and cultural sensitivity
