Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide attentive telemetry monitoring and timely interventions for cardiac patients
• Assess, document and communicate patient status clearly and professionally
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely according to policies
• Respond rapidly to alarms and changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to optimize care
• Educate patients and families on condition, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic charting and handoffs

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in California (required)
• Telemetry experience — comfortable with cardiac monitoring and rhythm recognition
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Skilled patient assessment and clinical documentation
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Ability to respond to acute changes and prioritize care
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and safe charting practices
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient- and family-centered care
