Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency care and prioritize patient safety
Perform rapid triage and assessment to identify urgent needs
Administer medications, IVs, and treatments accurately and timely
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for care plans
Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the chart
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — California licensure preferred
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS and/or PALS highly desirable for emergency care environments
Experience working in an Emergency Room or acute care setting preferred
Strong clinical judgment, ability to prioritize, and calm under pressure

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and rapid assessment skills tailored to emergency cases
IV therapy, medication administration, and wound care proficiency
Familiarity with emergency procedures and protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings
Accurate documentation and comfort with electronic health records
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing patient acuity
