Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to identify functional strengths, limitations, and therapy goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize independence and safety
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve function, mobility, and performance of ADLs
• Collaborate closely with nursing and rehab staff to coordinate care and achieve excellent outcomes
• Maintain thorough, state- and federally-compliant clinical documentation
• Promote patient safety and meaningful participation in daily activities
• Participate in mentorship and continuing education to support team growth and quality care

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license (required)
• Strong interpersonal and clinical skills with a commitment to positive patient outcomes
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is preferred but not required
• Ability to maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with interdisciplinary teams
