Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the Quality Management & Accreditation program across the system, setting strategic priorities and ensuring day-to-day operational excellence
• Manage accreditation activities and ensure ongoing compliance with accrediting body standards
• Oversee infection prevention and control, employee health screening, patient safety, and risk management efforts
• Integrate quality improvement practices across clinical and non-clinical divisions using rapid PDSA cycles and SEARHC Quality Management concepts
• Collaborate with EHR teams to embed quality measurement capacity and develop actionable quality reports
• Provide expert guidance on credentialing and regulatory compliance, and coordinate survey readiness
• Investigate complaints, synthesize findings, and present recommendations to the COO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors
• Supervise and mentor staff to build a high-performing quality team and foster cross-disciplinary collaboration

Qualifications

• Current RN license or comparable clinical degree required
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required within 18 months of hire
• Minimum five years of healthcare administration or performance improvement management experience
• Minimum three years supervising healthcare professionals
• Master's degree in a health-related or business field preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels

Education

• RN license or comparable clinical degree (required)
• Master's degree in health-related or business field (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Quality management, accreditation, and performance improvement methodologies
• Infection prevention and control, patient safety, and risk management principles
• Regulatory and accrediting agency requirements
• PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) cycles and SEARHC Seven Standards / SQM concepts
• EHR integration for quality measurement and reporting
• Program planning, implementation, evaluation, and change management
• Strong presentation, external communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Critical thinking and decision-making under time pressure
