Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for patients undergoing cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes
• Operate and monitor specialized devices (IVUS, OCT, Philips Laser System, atherectomy devices) during procedures
• Perform LEXISCAN stress test monitoring and support diagnostic/stent procedures
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and surgeons during left/right heart caths, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy and pacemaker insertions
• Use McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology and the McKesson Hemodynamic System for documentation and imaging support
• Provide compassionate pre- and post-procedure care and assist with patient transport and recovery duties
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergent cath lab support during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Contribute to a safe, efficient cath lab by following protocols, assisting with procedures as assigned, and supporting team communication

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma nursing license (OK State License) or compact license
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• ACLS (AHA) certification (listed as preferred and included in certification requirements)
• NIH stroke scale certification (required)
• Comfortable and experienced with IVUS, OCT, coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices, and stress test monitoring
• Familiarity with Siemens Artis Zee C-arm systems and McKesson CPACS/Cardiology/Hemodynamic systems is a strong plus
• Able to provide 2 supervisory references (within last 2 years) and current, detailed work history

Education

• Registered Nurse (RN) — active Oklahoma RN license or compact licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Cath Lab nursing and interventional cardiac/peripheral procedure knowledge
• Patient monitoring and hemodynamic assessment skills
• Experience with intravascular imaging: IVUS and OCT
• Proficiency with atherectomy devices and procedural device monitoring
• LEXISCAN stress test monitoring
• Experience using Siemens Artis Zee imaging and McKesson clinical systems
• Strong critical thinking, teamwork, and emergency response skills
• Ability to manage pre- and post-procedure care and patient transport
