Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (overnight), EOW (every other week)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate Med/Surg and telemetry nursing care to a diverse patient population
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry, responding quickly to changes
Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Respond to emergencies using ACLS, TNCC and NIHSS skills when required
Collaborate with physicians, therapists and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Complete required competency testing and maintain mandated documentation and screenings

Qualifications

Active RN license (will undergo license/certificate verification)
BLS and ACLS required; TNCC and NIHSS required
Current immunizations and screenings as listed (TB/PPD or IGRA, MMR, Varicella, COVID-19, Hep B, Tdap, influenza)
Fit test and drug screen as part of onboarding
Experience and comfort with Med/Surg and telemetry patient populations preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Med/Surg nursing assessments and interventions
Strong critical thinking and rapid clinical decision-making
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Familiarity with electronic health records and competency testing processes
Infection control and patient safety practices
