Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images with accuracy and care
• Prepare and position patients safely and compassionately for CT exams
• Follow imaging protocols and adjust techniques to meet clinical needs
• Perform required Trinity Skills Checklist items and ensure competency standards are met
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic health record and imaging systems
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control practices at all times
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and the clinical team to optimize patient outcomes
• Report equipment issues promptly and assist with routine maintenance checks

Qualifications

• BLS certification (required)
• License/Certificate Verification as required by facility and state
• Demonstrated competency with CT imaging and cross-sectional techniques
• Ability to complete Trinity Skills Checklist and pre-employment health screenings
• Current immunizations and health requirements as listed (TB, MMR, COVID-19, Hepatitis B, Influenza, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging and related radiology practices
• Strong knowledge of patient positioning and protocol selection
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
• Familiarity with PACS, EHR documentation, and image archiving workflows
• Excellent patient communication and compassionate bedside manner
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality imaging results
