Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to patients, prioritizing safety and dignity
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
• Perform timely patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Maintain clear, complete charting in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to support excellent outcomes
• Assist with patient transfers, wound care basics, and activities of daily living
• Support infection control and facility policies to keep patients and staff safe

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license (must be valid in the state of assignment)
• Previous LPN or travel LPN experience preferred, night shift experience a plus
• Weekend availability required; ability to work every-other-weekend
• Reliable transportation required to meet site scheduling needs
• Willingness to work overtime when available (OT not guaranteed)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program, LPN diploma or certificate

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical observation skills
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and charting systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Compassionate patient-centered care and strong bedside manner
