Shift Type: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct nursing care to residents with dignity and respect
Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes to the care team
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Perform wound care, basic treatments, and assist with daily living activities
Educate residents and families about care plans and best practices

Qualifications

Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for New Mexico
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to work the scheduled 12+ hour day shifts (Mon–Wed)

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and accurate charting
Vital signs monitoring and patient assessment
Infection control and basic wound care
Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation standards
Good clinical judgment and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
