Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
- Assist nursing staff with clinical tasks and timely patient care needs
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and changes in condition
- Document care accurately and communicate patient status to the care team
- Support safe patient transfers and mobility while promoting dignity
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure a smooth, patient-centered experience
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in good standing
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to pass background and health screenings as required
- Comfort working nights and providing hands-on patient care
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Previous patient care experience preferred
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental nursing assistant skills: bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting
- Vital signs measurement and reporting
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Clear, concise documentation and handoff communication
- Compassionate patient interaction and family communication
