Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across assigned shifts
Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
Document care in the electronic health record clearly and timely
Educate patients and families on condition management and discharge instructions
Support unit flow by assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges

Qualifications

Current and active RN license in the state of California
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred when applicable
Previous acute care or med-surg nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently on per-diem assignments and adapt quickly to unit needs

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of patient assessment and nursing fundamentals
Proficiency with medication administration and IV therapy
Comfortable using electronic health record systems for documentation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients safely
