Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
  • Take and report vital signs accurately and promptly
  • Support safe patient transfers and positioning with proper technique
  • Document care activities clearly in the patient record
  • Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team in a timely manner
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and coworkers

Qualifications

  • Active CNA certification (California preferred)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
  • Comfortable with 12-hour day shifts and per diem scheduling
  • Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completed CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of basic patient care and ADLs
  • Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
  • Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
  • Good teamwork, time management, and documentation skills
  • Comfort with safe patient handling and mobility assistance
