Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding as needed
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Document care clearly and communicate effectively with nurses and other clinicians
• Build trusting relationships with patients and their families to enhance care experience

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous experience as a CNA or in direct patient care preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care fundamentals and infection control practices
• Comfortable with vital signs, ADLs, and safe patient handling
• Ability to document clearly in patient charts or electronic health records
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Teamwork and effective communication with multidisciplinary staff
