Shift Type: Monday-Friday days, shared call nights & weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive preoperative assessments to ensure patient readiness
Provide patient education on surgical procedures and postoperative expectations
Monitor patients in the PACU, managing pain and ensuring stable recovery from anesthesia
Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver seamless perioperative care
Maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to safety protocols

Qualifications

Current California RN license in good standing
BLS and ACLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of recent Pre-Op or PACU nursing experience
TB clearance completed within 12 months of start date

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and interpreting patient responses
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with PACU equipment and postoperative care standards
