Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and skillfully to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care—positioning patients and explaining procedures clearly
• Manage imaging workflow including ER exams and prioritize urgent studies when needed
• Document exams accurately in Meditech and manage images in Centricity PACS
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams to ensure timely results
• Maintain equipment awareness (GE systems) and follow infection control and radiation safety protocols

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required)
• SC QRSA (South Carolina QRSA) certification (required)
• CT and X-Ray multimodality background (must have)
• Experience working with ER exams and acute care imaging (posting references 2 years experience)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with CT and X-ray imaging modalities
• Experience using PACS (Centricity) and documentation in Meditech
• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment
• Strong patient positioning, trauma and ER imaging skills
• Good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital imaging unit
