Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to patients, assisting with daily living activities
• Monitor and record vital signs, communicating changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility while following proper body mechanics
• Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and assist with basic hygiene needs
• Document care accurately and promptly in patient records
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Demonstrate professionalism and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of California (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Previous experience as a nursing assistant is a plus but new CNAs are welcome
• Reliable, punctual, and able to pass background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude toward patients and families

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed accredited CNA program and state certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Infection control practices and proper PPE use
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
• Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
