Candidate Pay Rate: $86 - $60.2 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans that promote independence
- Deliver therapy focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and functional skills
- Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to improve coordination and upper extremity function
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment approaches, and document measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and communicate care plans clearly
- Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques, safety strategies, and meaningful home programs
Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (required)
- Previous SNF, rehabilitation, or geriatric therapy experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Education
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in ADL training and functional rehabilitation
- Skilled in patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care techniques
- Effective communication with residents, families, and clinical teams
- Accurate and timely clinical documentation practices
- Familiarity with common SNF/rehab workflows and interdisciplinary coordination
