Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to older adults, helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote comfort and dignity
- Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and resident status
- Support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
- Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and the care team to ensure coordinated care
- Build trusting relationships with residents and contribute to a positive atmosphere
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification or equivalent required
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working evenings and adapting to per diem schedules
- Ability to pass background checks, TB screening, and facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills and a patient, respectful bedside manner
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and resident-centered practices
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and safe transfer/mobility techniques
- Familiarity with basic vital sign measurement and documentation
- Understanding of infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Team-oriented mindset with clear, compassionate communication
