Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care at the bedside
Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings clearly
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
Collaborate with the care team to develop and follow individualized care plans
Monitor patients for changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
Support unit flow by assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
Current basic assessment and clinical skills appropriate for acute care
Comfortable with medication administration and electronic documentation
Positive attitude, dependable, and able to work independently on per-diem shifts
Healthcare facility orientation and any facility-specific competencies completed prior to shift

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
Clear, compassionate verbal and written communication
Comfort with electronic health records and documentation best practices
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Team-oriented approach and effective collaboration with interdisciplinary staff
