Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the care team
- Document care interventions clearly and timely in the clinical record
- Support patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort with respect and dignity
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in New Hampshire (or ability to obtain state licensure)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable with medication administration and routine nursing procedures
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
Education
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing (LPN) program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing fundamentals, vital signs, and infection control
- Skill in safe medication administration and documentation
- Ability to observe, assess, and report changes in patient condition
- Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical charting
- Compassionate patient care with attention to safety and dignity
