Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on your unit
Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document clinical findings and interventions in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to optimize outcomes
Educate patients and families to support discharge readiness and recovery
Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and clinical emergencies

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for Maryland (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
Advanced certifications such as ACLS or specialty credentials are a plus
Previous acute care or hospital nursing experience preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-focused environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Medication administration and IV therapy competency
Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond calmly in fast-paced settings
Patient and family education with clear, empathetic communication
