Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Assist residents with safe transfers, mobility, and fall prevention measures
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and required trainings to ensure best practices
• Help create a positive, resident-centered experience through respectful, dignified care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (or eligible and willing to obtain) — license verification required
• BLS certification required
• Willingness and ability to complete Trinity specialty competency testing
• Ability to pass required screenings and clearances: Trinity 10-panel drug screen, background and reference checks
• Complete required health screenings and immunizations: Fit test, 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-Spot), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine
• Complete respirator evaluation, color vision testing, and physical/health statement as required
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for per diem scheduling

Education

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong hands-on patient care skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
• Proficiency in taking and documenting vital signs and basic patient observations
• Good understanding of infection prevention and PPE usage
• Clear communication and teamwork with nursing and interdisciplinary staff
• Time management and adaptability in changing care environments
• Basic familiarity with documentation practices and electronic health records
• Compassionate bedside manner and resident-focused approach

This is a travel/contract opportunity in Michigan — enjoy easy access to the Great Lakes shoreline, beaches and scenic state parks. Depending on assignment location, explore charming small towns, local breweries and seasonal festivals.
