Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and develop thoughtful, personalized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status and intervene promptly when changes occur
• Document care in the electronic health record with clarity and attention to detail
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teammates to coordinate excellent patient-focused care
• Educate patients and families to support recovery, self-care, and discharge planning
• Advocate for patient needs and contribute to a positive, healing environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (RN or LPN) — required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) helpful
• Clinical experience in an acute care setting is preferred and will help you hit the ground running
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced team and adapt to patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or LPN diploma/certificate as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• IV therapy and wound care fundamentals (as applicable to your license)
• Time management, prioritization, and teamwork
• Clear communication with patients, families, and the care team
