Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Red Rocks Care Center
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
Monitor resident condition and communicate changes to the care team
Document care activities thoroughly and maintain clear clinical records
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to create person-centered care plans
Support residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions with a calm, professional approach

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — ready to practice in New Mexico preferred
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain quickly)
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Reliable, local candidate (LOCAL ONLY) able to commit to the assignment

Education

Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent (LPN program completion)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and medication administration
Ability to assess resident needs and escalate concerns appropriately
Familiarity with documentation best practices and clinical charting
Comfort working in a fast-paced care setting while maintaining attention to detail
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills for resident-facing care
