Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced neonatal care in a Level-III NICU, providing the highest level of clinical attention to our tiniest patients
• Perform thorough clinical neonatal assessments and manage NICU admissions and ongoing treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, newborn nursery pediatricians, nurse practitioners and research nurses to coordinate excellent care
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with families, offering education, updates and support during challenging times
• Contribute to quality improvement and clinical best practices to help shape regional neonatal care
• Participate as a proactive, team-oriented clinician to maintain strong relationships with hospital stakeholders

Qualifications

• NNP Board Certified (must be NNP; FNP, PNP or other NP certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years current experience working as an NNP (not accepting new graduates)
• Experience in Level III NICU patient care and neonatology (high-volume environment)
• Team-oriented mindset; comfortable working within multidisciplinary neonatal teams
• Not accepting Locum candidates

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical neonatal assessment and advanced neonatal practice
• NICU patient care in a Level-III setting (1500 NICU admissions at site)
• Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary neonatal teams
• Ability to deliver compassionate family-centered communication
• Comfort working in a large, dynamic practice and adapting to scheduled weekend coverage
