Shift Type: Rotating evenings, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (8-hour shifts) with every-other-weekend coverage; required rotating call coverage (weekday call from end of shift to morning; weekend call rotation covering Friday 6:00 PM to Monday 6:00 AM). Additional shift opportunities include urgent care 12-hour shifts 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM and day hospital shifts 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging across modalities including portable X-rays, CT (with contrast), MRI/MRA, and fluoroscopy
• Respond promptly to call assignments and urgent requests, meeting the 30 to 60 minute response expectation
• Provide compassionate patient care and ensure patient safety during imaging procedures
• Document imaging and patient information accurately in Cerner to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including in-house hospitalists and Sound Physician group for seamless patient management
• Maintain and follow ARRT and institutional imaging protocols and quality standards
• Support departmental needs across the hospital and urgent care settings as requisitions dictate

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required (Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R))
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Fluoroscopy credential required or ability to obtain per facility policy
• Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience
• Ability to work rotating schedules, every-other-weekend coverage, and participate in call rotations
• Comfortable using Cerner EMR and imaging equipment such as Fugi
• Current license/credentials eligible for hospital submission

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong familiarity with radiographic imaging: XR (including portable), CT (including contrast studies), MRI/MRA
• Experience with fluoroscopy procedures and safety protocols
• Hands-on experience with Cerner electronic charting and imaging workflows
• Ability to produce diagnostically sound images under variable, often urgent, conditions
• Good communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
