Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging for inpatient, outpatient, and emergent patients with accuracy and compassion
• Operate and optimize GE CT scanners and adhere to department imaging protocols
• Provide high-quality care for trauma and emergent cases in a Level II facility
• Collaborate with radiologists and the CT team to support procedures and interpretation
• Document studies accurately in Epic and manage PACS workflows
• Maintain radiation safety practices and follow facility policies for badge use and monitoring
• Assist with IV starts and contrast administration when able (preferred, not strictly required)
• Participate in orientation and mentor new or traveling staff when assigned

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) and Certified CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) verification required (ARRT-CT preferred)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience or relevant radiology experience
• Experience working with trauma patients preferred (Level II trauma experience)
• Comfort using Epic electronic medical records and PACS systems
• Ability to work Saturday-Monday schedule and provide reliable coverage

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent training (ARRT credentialing required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Experience with GE CT equipment
• Familiarity with PACS and Epic charting systems
• Ability to manage high-volume and emergent imaging environments
• Good patient communication and critical thinking skills
• Basic IV/contrast administration skills preferred
