Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings in the EHR
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care plans
Respond promptly to patient changes and escalate concerns as needed
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate, timely charting and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ADN or BSN preferred; new grads with strong clinical training considered
Previous inpatient or acute care experience preferred but not required
Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and IV therapy basics
Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Infection control and patient safety practices
Effective teamwork, communication, and prioritization on busy shifts
