Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient condition with confidence and compassion
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless treatment
- Document clinical findings and interventions clearly in the EHR
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and well-being
- Advocate for patient needs and contribute to quality improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass facility background and health screenings
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
- Medication administration and IV therapy
- Familiarity with Epic or other modern EHR systems
- Prioritization, time management, and delegation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care setting
