Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
Take and report vital signs accurately and promptly
Support safe patient transfers and positioning with proper technique
Document care activities clearly in the patient record
Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team in a timely manner
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and coworkers

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (California preferred)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Comfortable with 12-hour day shifts and per diem scheduling
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and ADLs
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Good teamwork, time management, and documentation skills
Comfort with safe patient handling and mobility assistance
