Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Measure and document vital signs and patient observations accurately
Assist nursing staff with safe patient transfers and mobility support
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients
Communicate changes in patient condition clearly to the care team
Support patient dignity, comfort, and emotional needs throughout the shift

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — California preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with direct patient care and basic clinical tasks
Reliable, punctual, and able to work per diem shifts as needed
Ability to pass required background and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient-care fundamentals and infection control practices
Skillful in taking and recording vital signs and basic observations
Good communication and teamwork with nursing staff and families
Basic charting and documentation accuracy
Awareness of patient safety, mobility assistance, and fall prevention
