Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide focused telemetry nursing care to patients, continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes
• Perform thorough assessments and document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely according to facility policy and physician orders
• Communicate clearly and proactively with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plans, and discharge instructions with compassion
• Respond rapidly to alarms and acute changes, initiating appropriate interventions and escalation when needed
• Support unit workflows by assisting with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers

Qualifications

• Active RN license (California) or eligible to practice in California
• Telemetry experience (comfortable with cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitoring)
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or available after hire
• Demonstrated ability to work night/overnight shifts and handle acuity changes
• Clear background check and drug screen as required by facility
