Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms to detect changes early and act decisively
Perform thorough patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions
Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members for timely patient care
Provide compassionate patient and family education during the hospitalization
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Qualifications

Active California RN license required
Telemetry experience (core skill) and comfort working in a fast-paced monitoring environment
Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and provide reliable per-diem coverage
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac rhythm recognition and telemetry monitoring
Patient assessment and acute care nursing skills
IV therapy and medication administration best practices
Effective communication with patients, families, and the care team
Accurate electronic health record documentation
