Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess respiratory status and deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients
Administer respiratory treatments and therapies according to protocols
Monitor patient responses and adjust care in collaboration with the care team
Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment safely and efficiently
Document treatments, observations and progress clearly and timely
Participate in orientation and training to maintain best practices and safety

Qualifications

Current Respiratory Therapist license in Missouri (or eligible for licensure)
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or equivalent credential preferred
BLS certification required; ACLS or PALS as applicable or preferred
Clinical experience in acute or pediatric respiratory care preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team

Education

Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care or related field (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of respiratory care modalities, oxygen therapy and ventilators
Ability to assess pulmonary function and interpret basic respiratory diagnostics
Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety standards
Comfortable with electronic charting and accurate documentation
Good critical thinking and patient assessment skills
