Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and deliver compassionate, evidence-based care
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and document treatments accurately
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge needs
• Maintain strict infection control and safety standards
• Document thoroughly in the electronic health record to ensure continuity of care
• Triage and escalate clinical concerns to providers as needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact RN with California eligibility
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in acute care preferred
• Current CPR certification and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Strong clinical assessment skills and comfort working night shifts
• Reliable transportation to the Los Angeles facility

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and critical thinking under pressure
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation best practices
• Effective patient and family communication and education
• Triage, emergency response, and basic wound care
• Teamwork, adaptability, and time management in fast-paced settings
