Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Respond effectively to emergent situations and escalate when needed
• Educate patients and families with clarity and empathy to support recovery
• Support quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols on shift

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Prior acute care or night-shift nursing experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• MST experience or specialty training is a plus

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Completion of accredited nursing program and successful NCLEX-RN

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Familiarity with medication administration and IV therapy
• Proficient documentation in electronic health records
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced overnight setting
• Team-oriented mindset with strong bedside manner
• Basic familiarity with emergency response protocols
