Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing for adult ICU patients with compassion and clinical excellence
• Assess, monitor, and interpret complex physiologic data to guide timely interventions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Manage ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced cardiac life support as needed
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and care plans in a clear, respectful manner
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (state requirements apply)
• Prior ICU or critical care experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to work effectively under pressure
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and collaborate in a fast-paced ICU environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of critical care nursing principles and best practices
• Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Familiarity with common ICU medications and emergency protocols
• Proficiency with electronic health record documentation
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient/family-centered care skills
