Shift Type: Varied days (per diem), 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM Night

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform timely patient assessments and report changes in condition
Document care clearly and concisely in the patient record
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
Support a calm, safe environment for patients overnight

Qualifications

Current and active Registered Nurse license in Alabama
Clinical experience as an RN or LPN is welcomed
Current Basic Life Support certification or willingness to obtain per facility policy
Strong communication skills and ability to work well on night shift
Ability to follow facility policies and maintain accurate documentation

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Patient assessment and monitoring during overnight hours
Infection control practices and safety procedures
Accurate charting and time management on night shift
Team collaboration and clear communication with clinical staff
