Roles & Responsibilities

• Interpret PET/CT, CT, and nuclear medicine studies with a focus on prostate and pelvic imaging
• Provide timely, high-quality remote reads using GenDx, PACS, Epic, and PowerScribe
• Communicate findings clearly and promptly to referring clinicians to support patient care
• Cover scheduled weekend, overnight, and holiday shifts as assigned
• Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and case discussions to maintain excellence
• Support multidisciplinary care by collaborating with hospital teams and imaging centers
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to institutional policies and reporting standards

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology
• Completed PET fellowship (required)
• Active or eligible medical license in South Carolina or ability to obtain telemedicine privileges
• Proven experience interpreting PET/CT, CT, and nuclear medicine examinations, including prostate and pelvic imaging
• Comfortable with teleradiology workflows and remote coverage responsibilities
• Familiarity with Epic, PACS, GenDx, and PowerScribe preferred
• Willingness to cover weekends, overnights, and major holidays as part of the rotation

Education

• MD or DO with fellowship training in PET/CT or Nuclear Medicine; Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in PET/CT interpretation and nuclear medicine imaging
• Strong proficiency with PACS, GenDx, Epic, and PowerScribe
• Ability to produce clear, concise reports under high-volume conditions
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with referring providers
• Independent decision making and time management in a remote reading environment
• Commitment to quality assurance and continuous learning
