Radiologic Technologist
Location: St. Louis, MO

Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with care and precision
- Operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment while following safety protocols
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures
- Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records in PACS
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and the care team
- Participate in orientation and help onboard new or traveling staff as needed
Qualifications
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or state-equivalent certification
- Active state radiologic technologist license (MO license where required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required per facility policy
- Proven ability to perform diagnostic radiography and follow radiation safety
- Strong patient-care skills and professional communication
- Willingness to complete facility orientation and comply with credentialing
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiography diploma, or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
- Radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Familiarity with PACS and digital imaging workflows
- Patient assessment and immobilization techniques
- Attention to detail for image quality and documentation
- Team collaboration and clear clinical communication
